Why Typical Male?

I’ve had a number of people ask why I chose to call my novel, “TYPICAL MALE.”

Do any of you remember a song of the same name, sung by Tina Turner back in the 80s? It’s lyrics tell of a woman infatuated with a self-involved lawyer and her attempts at seducing him. With the sub-plot of notorious novelist Kathryn Teller, it seemed an obvious choice, considering the irony involved.

However, the publisher might not agree and TM will go out under a different title.

What can I say? I confess I’m a fool for a man with a clever mind. . .
